This club runs on volunteer energy, good ideas, and people willing to pitch in. If you’ve ever thought about helping out—on a committee, at an event, or on the water—now is the perfect time to raise your hand. Jump in, lend a hand, and help us keep MYC sailing strong for the next 100 years.
Our club is both a sailing and social organization, and its success depends on members who generously volunteer their time. From board members and sailing coaches to social volunteers, there are many ways to get involved and support the club.
All members are expected to assist with club activities. Members who participate in sailing have additional expectations to support racing activities. Below are some of the ways to get started.
The club operates in two main areas—sailing and social —and both rely on volunteers at various levels throughout the year.
